JEWS ANONYMOUS

Jews Anonymous is a non-profit, non-denominational association in Switzerland that advocates for the self-determination of Jewish identity and its equal recognition. This is achieved through promoting Jewish dialogue and actively rejecting external determination.

Antisemitism is the externally imposed instrumentalization of a “Jewish concept” in the form of stereotypes, from which a majority seeks to gain advantages—at the expense of people who are of Jewish origin, identify as Jewish, are perceived as Jewish, or solidarize with Jewish values. We refer to this fictional “unity of Jews” as a community of suffering—or Jews Anonymous. The term is used to protect self-determined Judaism from abusive instrumentalization.

The core of our association consists of the LET’S TALK discussion groups in various Swiss cities, as well as our TOOLBOX, which helps those affected recognize antisemitic attributions and protect themselves at an early stage. We also promote networking among affected individuals.
