7 STEPS

  • Antisemitism exists and affects all Jewish people, regardless of religious affiliation, political stance, gender, or community membership.

Discrimination is external determination. It is irrational, arbitrary, and does not require consent to function.

  • To solve a problem, it must be understood.

    Antisemitism is a spectrum.

From everyday remarks to deadly acts of violence, all forms share the same discriminatory core.

Antisemitism does not begin with violent escalation and should be taken seriously in all its forms.

  • Speak up and share. You are not alone.

Language empowers, in silence fear grows.

  • Antisemitism, through its external coercion, forms a Jewish community of suffering. Whether we want to or not, we depend on each other. That’s why we should build each other up.

  • Before we take action, we should sit down together and think about what can be done and how.

What is clear: Jewish people are not obligated to answer questions about Israel. Our personal relationship with Israel is part of our privacy. It is wrongly exploited from the outside as a playground for pent-up emotions and unfulfilled desires.

Like the rest of the Swiss population, we too do not have to negotiate our identity and its privacy in public.

  • Racist attributions (Jewish people are…) can be rejected.

The biggest challenge is recognizing them daily and repeatedly and actively rejecting them.

  • Your health is your life.

Especially in difficult times, we must consciously incorporate moments of rest and joy into our daily lives.
